We did it!
We won our campaign for State Representative with over 60% of the vote. The results show strong support for our vision for our communities and demonstrate the power of a grassroots campaign to bring people together to talk about the important issues we face.
This is a victory for all of us. You shared your successes, challenges and ideas with me; you put up lawn signs; you wrote letters and stuffed envelopes; you marched in parades and showed up at events; you donated money; and you talked with your friends and neighbors. Your enthusiasm and support kept me inspired, motivated, and energized throughout the summer and fall. Thank you.
Thank you to the best campaign team a person could ever ask for: Gina Campoli, Brian Carroll, Carey Crozier, Clive Gray, Swithin McGrath, Molly Moore, Scott Rhodewalt, Sarah Sem, Taylor Small, Dave Stoner, and Sam Young.
Thank you to my amazing and caring husband, Jeff, who stood with me every step of the way.
And a special thanks to my sons Wyatt and Hayden for all the laughs and the joy that you bring me everyday.
I can say, without a doubt, that none of this would have been possible without all of you.
The campaign might be over, but our work is just beginning. We will stay focused on our priorities: growing our rural economy, modernizing our infrastructure, building resilient communities, and investing in working families. Together we can create a Vermont that works for everyone.
Thank you for your support and your faith in me. I can’t wait to get back to work.
